Creates a closed rectangular polyline from the specified parameters such as its diagonal corner points, dimensions, area, and type of corners.
To Draw a Rectangle #
- Click Draw > Rectangle
- Specify the first corner of the rectangle.
- Specify the other corner of the rectangle.
By Length and Width #
- Click Draw> Rectangle.
- Specify the first corner of the rectangle.
- Enter D for Dimensions.
- Enter the length.
- Enter the width.
- Specify the other corner.
- Note: You are restricted by the length and width values.
By Area #
- Click Draw> Rectangle.
- Specify the first corner of the rectangle.
- Enter A for Area.
- Enter the area.
- Do one of the following:
- Enter L to enter the length. The width is calculated based on the length and the area.
- Enter W to enter the width. The length is calculated based on the width and the area.
- Enter the value for the length or width.
With Rotation #
- Click Draw > Rectangle.
- Specify the first corner of the rectangle.
- Enter R for Rotation.
- Enter the rotation value or enter P to pick two points to define the angle of rotation.
- Specify the other corner.
